Another 1,552 more people confirmed infected in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu : Corona infection has been confirmed in another 1,552 people in Kathmandu Valley.

According to the Ministry of Health, 1,283 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 112 in Bhaktapur and 157 in Lalitpur. The number of active infected people in the country has reached close to 45,000. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of active infected people has reached 44,877 as of Thursday.

Among them, there are 13,349 in institutional isolation and 31,538 in home isolation, said Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry at a regular press briefing on Thursday. He added that corona infections have been confirmed in 3,637 people in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the total number of corona infected has reached 148,509.

In the last 24 hours, an additional 3,215 people have recovered from corona infections, bringing the total number of corona cases to 122,820. So far, the death toll from Corona has reached 812, the ministry said.
