Kathmandu : A woman was killed in a car crash in Chitwan today.
The deceased has been identified as Buddhimaya Darai, 50, of Khairhani Municipality-2, according to Surya Bahadur Thapa, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Chitwan.
The car (Ba 12 Cha 3177) heading from east to west hit Darai while crossing the road. She succumbed to her injuries at Chitwan Medical College at 5 pm.
