Kathmandu : A man has been arrested in Sunsari on Tuesday on charges of murdering his own wife. Among the arrested is Gopal Magar, 42, of Dharan Sub-Metropolis-15.
According to police, Gopal had beaten his wife Chhaya Thapa Magar, 32, to death. According to police, Chhaya, who was critically injured in the beating, died while undergoing treatment at Dharan Ghopa Hospital.
Gopal has been arrested and further investigation is underway, police said.
