Man arrested for trying to kill his wife by pouring hot oil on her

Kathmandu : Police have arrested Aswin Pariyar, 24, of Neelkanth Municipality-11 on charge of trying to kill Puja Pariyar, 20, of Jamrung by pouring hot oil on her.

Puja has been seriously injured after he poured oil on his wife who was sitting at home.

Hot oil burned the head, back, neck, legs and hands. According to Loknath Timsina, Information Officer of the District Police Office and Deputy Superintendent of Police, the investigation has been started after arresting the accused.

The injured is undergoing treatment at Kritipur Model Hospital in Kritipur. Police have registered a case against the accused under the murder industry. According to the police, the case will be investigated according to the nature of the incident and the court will punish according to the fault.
