Child injured in bear attack on Doti

Kathmandu : Tek Bahadur Parki, 9, of Talapolla Toll in Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-7 has been injured in a bear attack.

The boy’s right arm and head were badly injured when the bear attacked him. The boy is currently undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Doti.

Dr. Soham Shah of the district hospital, who is involved in the treatment, said that surgery should be done on both sides of the arm.

According to Sher Bahadur Parki, the father of the injured child, a bear came near the house and injured the child.
