Kathmandu : A person has been killed when a truck hit a motorcycle at Tarkari Chowk of Khainhani Municipality-1 on the East-Weat Highway.
The deceased has been identified as Arjun Gurung, 24, of Khairhani Municipality-6.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, a truck (Na 3 Kha 554) heading towards Narayangarh from Lothar had hit a motorcycle (Na 53 Pa 9753) heading in the opposite direction on Wednesday morning.
Gurung, who was injured in the truck crash, died at the old medical college while undergoing treatment, according to police. Both the vehicle and the driver of the truck are under police control.
