Kathmandu : According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, a police team seized 80 kg of marijuana from near Bhutan Devi Temple in Hetauda Sub Metropolis-10.
While searching for the car (Ba 6 Cha 1476) parked near the temple, the police found illegal cannabis inside the car, said Indra Bahadur Rana, spokesperson of the District police Office.
After the owner of the car absconded, the local people’s representative broke the lock of the car in Rohwar and found the illegal cannabis, police said.
