Kathmandu : A person was killed when a truck hit a bus on the road at Newarpani of Hetauda Sub Metropolis-19 in Makwanpur district on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Raj Kishor Rai, 40, of Belahi in Sarlahi Chakraghata Municipality.
Rai was seriously injured when a truck (Na 2 Kha 7538) heading towards Chitwan from Hetauda hit a bus (Na 6 Kha 1085) heading towards Sarlahi from kathmandu. He died while undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda.
Police have taken control of both the vehicle and the truck driver.
