Damage of Rs 6.8 million due to fire in two places

Kathmandu : During the festival, goods worth Rs 6.8 million were destroyed in a fire that broke out in two shops in Biratnagar.

According to the District Police Office, Morang, a fire broke out at Dinesh Agrawal’s fancy shop at Traffic Chowk, Biratnagar-10 on Saturday night, destroying goods worth around Rs 6 million.

Similarly, a fire broke out at a bamboo and tin-roofed house in Abhay Aryal’s field near Biratnagar-9 bus park on Saturday night, destroying goods worth Rs 800,000.

Police have urged to worship consciously to prevent such accidents.
