Kathmandu : Two persons have been arrested for stealing fuel by making a ‘false chamber’ in a petrol tanker.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested them on Thursday. Among the arrested are Ajay Lama and Vikesh Lama, 35, of Simara-21, Jitpur.
Both of them were arrested by a team of the Bureau from Maharjgunj area of Kathmandu on Mangsir 11. They have been accused of making a false chamber in the tankers (Na 7 Kha 2995 and Na 7 Kha 3696) loaded with petrol from Indian Oil Corporation Barauni, India.
Bureau’s Information Officer Superintendent of Police Bel Bahadur Pandey has informed that further investigation is underway on them.
