Kathmandu : One person has been killed in Mechinagar of Jhapa district on Sunday night. Purna Bahadur Pradhan, 50, of Mechinagar Municipality-4 has been beaten to death by a group, according to police.
Pradhan was rushed to Amda Hosptial, Dhulabari for treatment and died at 9:30 pm on Sunday. Police have arrested three persons on the charge of being involved in the incident.
A team from Area Police Office, Kakadvitta and Police Post, Bahundangi arrested Bema Dorji Tamang, Divas Lungeli Magar and Vishal Tamang alias Prem, said DSP Rakesh Thapa of District Police Office, Jhapa.
