Kathmandu : Thirteen people, including a groom, have been injured in a jeep accident in Gulmi district.
According to Purushottam Prasad Pandey, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at District Police Office, Gulmi, the jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5086) heading to Syangja for marriage from Kaligandaki Gaonpalika-2 Urbani Kot of the district had an accident Orolo near Kharka of the same ward.
According to police, 13 people were injured when the jeep fell about 18 meters from the road. The injured are undergoing treatment at Mirmi in Syangja, said DSP Pandey.
Pandey said that the jeep driver Rajan Pandey, 28, of Syangja Kaligandaki Gaonpalika-4 was taken under control.
