One arrested from airport with Rs 1 million

Kathmandu : Police have arrested a man from Tribhuvan International Airport with an undisclosed amount of Rs 1 million.

The arrested in Ashish Khati Chhetri of Kalanki, Kathmandu, police said.

While checking the handbag he was going to Dubai on a Nepal Airlines flight, police found Rs 1 million without any source and no customs declaration.

He has been sent to the Tribhuvan Airport Customs Office for necessary action, airport police said.
