Westerly wind likely to cause light snowfall in high hilly and mountainous region

The sky at most of the places will remain partly to generally cloudy with chances of snowfall in high hilly and mountainous region for three days due to the effects of Westerly wind.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will likely be partly cloudly in Sudurpashchim Province and some mountainous belt while it would be clear in rest of the parts of the country.

The Department has urged one and all to take precaution against cold as there is possibility of light to moderate snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous region, and of occurrence of fog in some parts of the Tarai region in the morning for three days.

According to the latest detail of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley is 7.8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 21.6 degree Celsius.

Similarly, the minimum temperature of Jumla today is -2.4 degrees Celsius.
