Kathmandu : Himal Thami has killed his wife in Kalinchok village municipality-6 of Dolakha on Saturday morning.
Himal, 28, killed 22-year-old Sunita in a domestic dispute at around 2:30 in the morning. Police have arrested Himal, who fled after killing his wife. According to DSP Bhesh Raj Rijal of the District Police Office, Dolakha, the accused was arrested within two and a half hours of receiving the information.
Himal, who is from Kharebesi in Kalinchok-6, was arrested by the police from Isaigola in Ward No. 7 of the same village. According to police, Sunita was brutally killed by killed by Himal with a Khukuri.
Sunita’s body has been sent to District Hospital, Dolakha for postmortem. DSP Rijal said that an investigation has been started into the murder.
