Kathmandu : The drug traffickers have started adopting new methods for drug trafficking. Recently, it has been revealed that drugs are being smuggled by hiding them inside cooking gas cylinders.
Police have arrested two drug smugglers from Pharping in Kathmandu. Among the arrested are Trjamanu Gaddi and Abdullah Gaddi of Jagannathapur in Birgunj.
Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Spokesperson (DSP) Pramesh Bista told that they were arrested from Farping’s checkpoint. Coming to Kathmandu from Birgunj, they had brought drugs inside a cylinder on a motorcycle (Ba 36 Pa 7137).
Police have recovered 568 ampoules of diazepam, 577 ampoules of phenargon and 571 ampoules of Nurfin from the cylinder.
