Kathmandu : As the coronavirus infection is increasing, the entry point to Kathmandu will be tightened.
A meeting of the Kathmandu District Covid-19 Control and Prevention Committee (DCMC) held on Monday has decided to set up help desks for health check-ups and antigen testing by tightening the checkpoints at the entrances to Kathmandu.
Similarly, the meeting has also decided to collect and sent the swab of PCR test if the person is found to be negative from the antigen test but the symptoms are suspicious.
Earlier, it was decided to keep the isolation centers and quarantines in all the metropolises up to date and all the municipalities to operate and manage at least 1-1 isolation and quarantine in their respective municipalities.
It has also been decided that the health office, all municipalities and security agencies will monitor the health standards and take action if they are found not be following the standards.
The meeting also decided to mobilize manpower for public awareness, emphasize on contact tracing, coordinate for vaccination from China, and postpone public events.
