Three arrested for hunting protected wildlife

Kathmandu : Three people have been arrested for hunting protected wildlife.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested three persons from Kageshwari Manhara Municipality-6 in Kathmandu with a leopard like skin.

Among the arrested are Phulmaya Tamang, 34, of Bara Jitpur Simara Sub Metropolits and Gulmi Savik of Jubhung VDC. Shiva Palli, 32, of 8 and Pasang Tasi Tamang, 22, of Ramecchap Doramba Village Municipality-2 have been arrested.

Police have recovered a leopard like skin from the protected wildlife and sent it to the Division Forest Office, Hattisar, Kathmandu for necessary legal action.
