Kathmandu : One person has died in a truck accident at Chhamtang of Arun Gaonpalika-4 in Bhojpur district.
According to the District Police Office, Bhojpur, Bhesh Bahadur Basnet, 43, of Morang Patharishanischare-8 died on the spot when the truck (Na 3 Kha 320) heading towards Bhojpur from Dharan met with an accident on Monday night.
Truck driver Arun Bahadur Khadka, 20, of Arun Gaonpalika-6 Jarayotar has been seriously injured. He is undergoing treatment at Virat Nursing Home in Biratnagar, police said.
The postmortem of the body was done at Bhojpur District Hospital on Tuesday, said police Inspector Pradip Lama.
