Kathmandu : A magnitude 6.0 earthquake shook the Indonesian island of Java on Saturday.
The US Geological Survey said the quake had a magnitude of 6. The epicenter was reported at a depth of 82 km below the ground. It is located near the town of Malan in East Java.
The epicenter was reported below the ground, however; no tsunami alert was issued. According to local media, a man was killed when a rock fell on him in Lumajang.
