Driver under control with goods brought by evading customs

Kathmandu : Police have arrested the truck and its driver along with the smuggled goods from Birgunj customs.

According to the District Police Office, Parsa, Suraj Singh, 28, of Pashupati Road Carriers (Na 3 Kha 7210) heading towards Narayangarh from Birgunj has been arrested.

According to the police, the truck and its driver were sent to the Revenue Investigation Office, Pathalaiya, Bara on Monday for action as cosmetics, hardware and groceries worth Rs 42 lakh were found.
