Kathmandu : The District Administration Office, Makwanpur, has sealed a drug store in Hetauda, Makwanpur, alleging that it was operating without registration and selling drugs without a pharmacist.
A monitoring team led by Assistant Chief District Officer Chiranjeevi Sharma of District Administration Office Makwanpur sealed Aakash Pharmacy at Sheetal Mahal Chowk in Hetauda Sub Metropolitan Ward No. 4.
A joint monitoring team comprising Administration Office, Makwanpur, Home and Small Industries Office, Food Technology and Quality Control Office, Department of Health Services, Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that the drugs were not registered in the Home and Small Industries Office. According to the District Administration Office, the shop was sealed.
The monitoring team also monitored eight other shops in Hetauda Bazaar. During the monitoring, expired beverages found in the shops were also destroyed.
As the risk of corona infection has been increasing recently, the administration office has intensified the monitoring of corona infection and monitoring whether the administration’s decision has been implemented.
