Kathmandu : One person has been killed when a car and a motorcycle collided in Hetauda.
According to Somendra Singh Rathore, Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makwanpur, the accident took place when a motorcycle (Na 38 Pa 9353) and a car (Ba 8 Cha 2953) collided with each other.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Kumar Shukla, 35, of Mahagadhimai Municipality, Ward No. 4, Bara, according to the District Police Office, Makwanpur. Jyoti Aryal, 33, of Nawalparasi district was injured in the accident.
The injured Aryal is undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda Sub Metropolitan Ward No. 11, police said.
Police said that further investigation is underway into the incident.
