Prohibition extended in Kailali

Kathmandu : The prohibition in Kailali has been extended as the corona infection has spread at the community level.

A meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) held on Saturday extended the prohibition till Bhaisak 30. Earlier, a prohibition was issued from Bhaisak 16 to Bhaisak 22.

At the time of the injunction, all banks and financial institutions will be allowed to open only one branch of a bank from 9 am to 11:30 am on Bhaisak 20 to Bhaisak 30.

On the one hand, corona infection is spreading and on the other hand, the number, corona infection is spreading and on the other hand, the number of Nepalis returning to Nepal from India is also increasing.

The fact that Nepalis returning to Nepal from India enter the village directly has increased the risk in the community. There is a shortage of antigen kits for corona testing at checkpoints in the far west.

At a time when the number of Nepalis returning from India is increasing at the state border, the lack of antigen kits has increased the risk. 2 thousand to 2 thousand 5 hundred Nepalis are entering the Far West daily from Gadda Chowki and Gauriphanta Naka of Kanchanpur, Jhulaghat Naka of Baitadi and Pulghat Naka of Darchula.

Only a small number of them have been tested. Although about a thousand enter the Gauriphanta checkpoint daily, only 100 to 150 corona tests are done.

Chief of the Health Office, Kailali, Lal Bahadur Dhami said that the corona test could not be conducted as required due to lack of kits. Preparations are underway to isolate the Geta Medical College in Geta, Kailali, as there is no way to treat the coronavirus.

Chief District Officer of Kailali, Khagendra Prasad Rijal, informed that preparations would be started for the management of necessary structures at the site from today.
