Kathmandu : Four people have died of corona virus (Covid-19) while undergoing treatment at two hospitals in the district.
Three died at Chitwan Medical College (CMC) and one at the College of Medical Sciences (CMS). The deceased have been identified as Tanahu, Bara, Rupandehi and Kapilvastu.
According to the Health Office, Chitwan, 13 infected people are being treated in three hospitals in the district on ventilators. Nine people in CMC and four people in CMS are undergoing treatment on ventilator.
Similarly, 64 patients are in intensive care unit. Of them, 36 are undergoing treatment at CMC, 18 at CMS and 10 at Bharatpur Hospital.
Similarly, 46 infected people are undergoing treatment at HDU. Of them, 24 are in Bharatpur Hospital, eight in CMC and 14 in CMS.
Of the 220 infected people being treated at the district hospital, 106 are at Bharatpur Hospital, 78 at CMC and 36 at CMS. In the district, 110 beds in Bharatpur Hospital, 139 beds in CMC and 100 beds in CMS have been allocated for covid infection.
