Corona infection confirmed in 8,659 more people, 58 died in last 24 hours

Kathmandu : In the last 24 hours, 58 people have died and 8,659 have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 20,756 PCR tests confirmed the infection in 8,605 people in 616 anitgen tests confirmed the infection in 54 people.

In addition, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in Nepal so far is 359,610. As of Wednesday, the number of active cases of corona virus has reached 66,352.

Out of which 4,764 are in institutional isolation and 61 thousand 588 are in home isolation. The number of people recovering from corona virus infection in the last 24 hours is 1,993.

So far, 289,783 people across the country have recovered from the infection.
