Kathmandu : A restraining order has been issued in Morang district.
The District Administration Office, Morang, has issued a prohibition for the entire district from 12 noon on Friday to Jestha 1.
Chief District Officer Koskhahari Niraula informed that it has been decided to issue a one week prohibition to prevent and control the infection as the infection of Covid 19 is increasing day by day.
A meeting of the District Corona Infection Management Committee held on Thursday decided to extend the prohibition in Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Budhiganga and Katahari villages and implement it in the entire district, said Prajia Niraula.
The local administration had issued a one week prohibition in Biratnagar Metropolitan City and surrounding areas for the management of Covid-19 infection.
The meeting also decided that all the 17 local municipalities in the district would set up 15 beds or more hospitals and isolation centers to effectively control the second wave of Covid-19 and provide necessary health workers as well as oxygen.
Similarly, the meeting has also decided to release Rs 3.5 million received from the Parliamentary Development Fund to the Biratnagar Metropolitan City for immediate maintenance of the bed in the old building of Covid-19 Treatment Center.
