Kathmandu : Alka Hospital in Lalitpur has stated that oxygen problems have started appearing in the treatment of Covid patients.
In a press release issued on Friday, Alka Hospital said that there were difficulties in oxygen supply. “Now there are problems in the treatment of the infected,” said Dipendra Pokhrel, CEO of Alka Hospital. “Patient pressure in the hospital is increasing, problems with oxygen supply are increasing, how to treat patients?”
According to him, Alka Hospital needs 150 cylinders daily. Alka Hospital is managing 44 of them from domestic production.
The hospital has urged the Ministry of Health and Population, Bagmati State Government, local administration, local level, civil society and media personnel to create an environment where oxygen is easily available.
