The Assistant High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Kolkata handed over the assistance to the Indian delegation. Bangladesh said in a press release that the aid was sent to India under the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Remedivir Covid-19 has been used in the treatment of serious patients.
Earlier, Bangladesh had offered to provide essential supplies, India’s foreign ministry said on Wednesday. It is produced by Beximco. Beximco, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh, has also partnered with the Serum Institute of India to bring the Cov shield vaccine to its country.
This is the first aid sent by Bangladesh to India affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. Bangladesh is also preparing to send large quantities of vitamin C, D, zinc supplements, N95 masks and essential medicines to patients with Covid-19.
Bangladesh itself is in the grip of Corona. A total of 41 people lost their lives due to the infection on Thursday. However, the latest figures show that corona infections are declining in the country.
