Despite the suspension of regular flights, 9 international flights landed today

Kathmandu : Regular international flights to Nepal have been suspended since Thursday night. Domestic flights had already been canceled.

According to the Tribhuvan Airport Office, nine flights are taking off and landing on Friday.

Three of the plane reached various destinations on Thursday night and was about to return to Kathmandu. One of the plane is coming from India as per the scheduled flight. Two planes are coming to Kathmandu carrying cargo.

According to the office, a Himalayan Airlines plane has arrived in Kathmandu from Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Nepal Airlines has come from Doha. Nepal Airlines is scheduled to arrive from Narita, Japan. Air India has come to Kathmandu from India as per the permission given to operate one flight a week.

Two Cathay Pacific planes will arrive in Kathmandu from Hong Kong carrying cargo. The planes from Hong Kong and Delhi will return today. Himalayan Airlines plane will go to Kunming, China today to pick up cargo.

Helicopters are now chartered inland. Only 23 helicopters left Kathmandu on Thursday. 18 helicopters have arrived in Kathmandu.

On Thursday, the army made three flights.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, the airport will not be closed due to the regularity of chartered, medical emergency and rescue flights.

Airport offices have to open even with less staff. Other employees will be employed according to the work firm home.
