Three brothers of the same family died due to Covid-19 in Banke

Kathmandu : Three brothers of the same family have died in Nepalgunj due to corona infection. The deceased have been identified as Imtiaz, Ejaz and Zaheer Ahmed, residents of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolis-3.

According to Tej Wali, a source at the District Covid Crisis Management Center, Banke, he died within a day. Ejaz died the day after Zaheer’s death. Imtiaz died on Friday morning, a source said.

All of them died while undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital. Zaheer, who was doing business near Bipichok in Nepalgunj, died on Wednesday, Ejaz on Thursday and Imtiaz on Friday.

Another 10 corona infected patients admitted to the hospital in Banke died on Thursday night.

The death toll from the infection in Banke has reached 169 so far, while 130 people from outside the district have come to Banke for treatment, according to the District Covid Crisis Management Center.
