Kathmandu : The second wave of Covid-19 in India is becoming dangerous. More than 400,000 people have been confirmed infected in last 24 hours.
On Sunday, India recorded 4,03,738 fresh cases. This was the fifth straight day of 4-lakh-plus daily infections in the country. However, the numbers have declined marginally over the past three days after hitting a peak of 4,14,554 on Thursday.
The rising death toll from new infections is also a cause for concern. A total of 4,091 people died in India on Saturday due to corona infection.
However, in the last 24 hours, 386,207 people have recovered from the corona infection. This is one of the biggest numbers of people recovering from the infection in one day.
