All government hospital of Kathmandu Valley to be converted into Covid-19 Hospital

Kathmandu : The government has decided to make all government hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley Covid-19 hospital.

Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population Laxman Aryal informed at a press conference on Tuesday. He said that the government has decided to turn all the hospitals including Patan, Thapathali-based maternity hospital and trauma center into Covid-19 hospitals due to the high rate of epidemic.

The ministry said the decision was made due to a shortage of beds as corona infections were on the rise.
