Kathmandu : Former King Gyanendra Shah, who is undergoing treatment at Norvik International Hospital, has been discharged from the corona infection. He was discharged from the hospital at 8 last night.
Shah Former Queen Komal and daughter Princess Kumari Prerna were admitted to Norvik Hospital 19 days ago after corona infection was confirmed. He was kept in the hospital with oxygen support. The hospital has stated that his health has improved after continuous treatment.
After Corona’s symptoms disappered, his swab was tested three days ago and the report was negative. He was discharged yesterday after his condition improved. The condition of former queen Komal Shah, who is undergoing treatment at the hospital, is improving. She was shifted from ICU to ward a few days ago after her condition improved. Komal was also treated with plasma therapy.
Former Princess Prerna Shah’s swab report was negative but she is still in the hospital with her mother.
A team led by Dr. JP Jaiswal, Senior Physician and Cardiologist of Norvik Hospital and Dr. B. Srivastava, Chest Physician were involved in the treatment of the former King, Queen and Princess. Norvik’s team was also assisted by a private physician from the former royal family.
