Kathmandu : Private and community hospitals with a capacity of at least 100 beds have to connect oxygen plants.
As corona infections have increased, so has the lack of oxygen, and many private hospitals have announced that they will not admit new infected people.
Many private hospitals do not have oxygen plants. After the government set the quota of hospitals, the hospitals are announcing that they will not admit new patients saying that the oxygen as per the quota will not be enough.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health and Population decided that private and community hospitals with at least 100 beds should set up oxygen plants within 15 days, said Dr Jageshwor Gautam.
