Rs 170 million budget secured for construction of oxygen plant in 12 more hospital

Kathmandu : The Ministry of Finance has agreed to set up oxygen plants in 11 hospitals and oxygen pipelines in one hospital in different parts of the country.

The Ministry of Finance has agreed to spend an additional Rs 168 million on the Ministry of Health and Population. At the same time, the Ministry of Health can now move ahead with the process of setting up the plant. Ministry of Health had demanded money for a total of 12 hospitals.

According to the Ministry of Finance, funds have been sanctioned to expand the oxygen pipeline at Damauli Hospital, Tanahu.

Apart from this, funds have been sanctioned for setting up oxygen plants at Syangja Hospital, Baitadi Hospital, Doti Hospital, Arghakhanchi Hospital, P Chandra Hospital (Kapilvastu), Toulihawa Hospital, Palpa Hospital, Bardiya Hospital, Provincial Hospital (Dang), Pyuthan Hospital and Tehrathum Hospital.
