Kathmandu : Police have arrested three persons with weapons from Lahan Municipality of Siraha. Among the arrested are Karan Purve, 25, Sanjay Kumar Mahato, 22, and Dharmendra Mahato, 24, of Matiarwa in Lahan Municipality-1.
A sharp pistol and a round of ammunition were recovered from them, said Siraha Police Spokesperson Shaligram Sharma.
A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Lahan, on suspicion of being involved in the theft of cash and gold and silver jewelery from the house of Indradev Thakur, a resident of Krishnatol, Lahan-1 on Bhaisak 28, recovered weapons from the house.
Police said that further investigation has been started after taking the arrested persons under control.
