Kathmandu : The Ministry of Finance has agreed to provide additional Rs 81 million for the connection of health equipment in various hospitals.
In the last two weeks alone, the ministry has agreed to provide Rs 5.5 billion for hospitals across the country. According to the ministry, an agreement of Rs 81 million has been purchase of PCR machine for 12 hospitals.
As per the agreement given on Monday, the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital has Rs 8 million, District Hospital Chautara Rs 7.5 million, District Hospital Dailekh Rs 7.5 million, District Hospital Dhankuta Rs 7.5 million, District Hospital Jaleshwor Rs 7.5 million and District Hospital Ilam Rs 7.5 million.
The district hospital has Rs 8 million for Sankhuwasabha, 7.5 million for Ramechhap Hospital, Rs 7.5 million for Chaurjahari Hospital, Rukum West, Rs 7.5 million for Tikapur Hospital, Kailali, Rs 2.5 million for Okhaldhunga Hospital and Rs 2.5 million for Beas Hospital.
As requested by the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry of Finance has been agreeing at various times to provide necessary materials and infrastructure for the control, treatment and prevention of Covid.
