Kathmandu : The Nepal Medical Association has started critical care training for doctors and health workers working on the front line of the Covid epidemic.
A two day virtual training has been started from Thursday for the doctors and health workers involved in the treatment of Covid-19 infected sitting at the front.
The association said that the training was organized with the objective of providing safe and effective treatment to the patients as they do not need oxygen, medicine and other essential health items for their treatment.
Dr. Badri Rijal, General Secretary, informed that doctors and health workers will be trained in the training to ensure the safety of the infected patients, oxygen and ventilators and other special treatments.
Secretary General Dr. Rijal informed that 100 doctors and health workers will be involved in the training conducted with the support of various organizations including the World Health Organization. Training will be conducted for 10 days at the rate of 2/2 days by dividing into 5 groups.
