Kathmandu : A man has been found dead in Thatikandh village in West Dailekh district.
Bal Bahadur Budha, 33, of Siradi in Thatikandhk-1 has been found dead with his belt tied around his waist. Dailekh Police Chief DSP Anupam Shrestha informed that the body was found at around 2 pm today. However, his body was found by the locals at around 12 noon.
Police reached the spot at around 2 pm after the locals informed the police. Shrestha said that his body was being prepared to be taken to Dullu Hospital for postmortem.
He said, “The body was found hanging from a small pine tree with a belt snare and the branch was broken. It was found lying face down on a rock just before the plant. We can’t say anything now. The postmortem report says more.”
According to eyewitnesses at the scene, he used to drink alcohol. He had not come home after drinking alcohol last evening. It is understood that the old man drank too much alcohol and did not eat on time. The deceased was building his house.
The locals claim that the two-storey house has already been built but the old man has left his housework for a few days and is addicted to alcohol. At that time, he even stopped doing housework.
