Kathmandu : In Syangja, the prohibition has been extended till 12 noon on Jestha 31. Today’s meeting of the District Security Committee has extended the prohibition till tonight by one week.
Chief District Officer of Syangja, Deepak Raj Nepal, said that the prohibition has been extended till the end of Jestha due to the high rate of Covid infection in the district.
The meeting has decided to conduct daily sale of food items like milk, vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, water, gas, petroleum and essential construction materials only from 5 am to 9 am.
It has been decided to close all banks and financial institutions except for the purpose of revenue collection, disaster management and government work.
During the prohibition, as before, medicines and emergency services will be open 24 hours a day.
