Kathmandu : In Rukum (East), the prohibition has been extended by one week. The prohibition has been in place for a long time as the risk of corona is increasing in the district.
The last extended period was coming to an end tonight at 12 noon. Chief District Officer Raj Kumar Rai, coordinator of the District Covid Crisis Management Center (DCCMC), said that the Corona infection has not been reduced for one more week.
A meeting of the District Corona Crisis Management Center has added a prohibition in Dang. The prohibition issued earlier today has been extended till 6 pm on Asar 1. However, now it has become somewhat loose.
Banks and financial institutions will now be open daily from 10 am to 2 pm. Chief District Officer Dirghanarayan Poudel said that shopping was also open in the market from 6 am to 10 am. All shops except hotels, salons, tea shops, restaurants, gym, clubs and cinema halls will remain open.
Health and safety standards must be applied. All government offices here will be open from Wednesday.
Earlier, only much needed government offices were open. He said that now all government offices will be opened with the participation of limited staff.
