Matthew Leakey gave Australia the lead in the sixth minute of the game. Fran Carasic doubled the lead in the 38th minute.
Nepal was limited to 10 players after Rohit Chand got a red card towards the end of the first half. Martin Boyle added another goal in the 57th minute of the second half. Even after that, Australia created many goal opportunities but failed to score.
Australia was the hub over Nepal in the game. Nepal could not attack a single post of the opposition.
After winning two games in the group with the loss, Nepal is limited to the second last place by collecting 6 points.
