Kathmandu : Police have arrested three persons from Belbari Municipality and Sunvarshi Village Municipality of Morang along with sharp pistols and drugs.
Among the arrested are Chewan Kumar Dhamla, Khem Bhattarai alias Vishal of Sundaraharaincha Municipality-9 and Abbas Miah, 60, of Sunvarshi-8.
Dhamala and Bhattarai were hit by a motorcycle (Pradesh 1-02-041 Pa 8887) in Bhaunne forest at Belbari-10 on Thursday. Two motorcyclists were also injured in the accident.
During the check-up at Novel Community Hospital, police found 892 nitrogen tablets and 13,860 grams of hashish along with Dhamla and Bhattarai. Police arrested Mian from his house on the basis of a statement that he had bought the material from Abbas Mian.
Police have recovered a sharp pistol, 600 tablets of Nitrovet mill and two bottles of Lilex DC from Miya’s house. The Belbari Area Police Office is investigating them.
