1.5 million worth of health care assistant from Gulmeli Society Japan

Kathmandu : Gulmeli Society Japan has sent 1.5 million worth of health items to the home district of Gulmi. In the first phase, the society has sent various health items including oxygen concentrators.

The society has sent health items worth Rs 1.1 million to Gulmi Hospital in Resunga Municipality, health facilities in three wards of Musikot Municipality, Chandrakot Municpality, Kaligandaki Municipality, Satyawati Municipality, Rurukshetra Municipality, Chhatrakot Municipality, Gulmidarbar Municipality and Malika Municipality.

Similarly, the society has sent health materials worth Rs 4 lakh to ISMA, Dhurkot, Madane village municipality, Paudi Amarai health post, Badagaun health post and all journalists in the district through the Federation of Nepali Journalists.

Janardan Ghimire, former president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) and coordinator of the Oxygen Campaign Coordinating Committee, said that work was underway to distribute the health items in the second phase.
