Kathmandu : A worker has died in an explosion at a plywood factory in the Parbatipur Industrial Corridor of Banke.
Khushiram Tharu, a resident of Barbardia Municipality, Ward No. 9, Bardiya, died when a steam boiler machine at Ganapati Door and Ply Board Industries Pvt. Ltd. in Parbatipur, Kohalpur Municipality-14 suddenly exploded.
According to Kohalpur Area Police Office Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal, the incident took place at around 5 this morning.
The incident is being investigated, said Pranau Khanal.
