Kathmandu : The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has demanded 155,396 doses of corona vaccine from the Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) following the agitation of petroleum businessmen.
In a letter to Covid-19 CCMC on Sunday, the ministry said the corona vaccine was needed for various front line service providers. The ministry has demanded vaccines for petroleum sales and transportation, truck transport businessmen, gas sellers and employees of the corporation.
In a letter to CCMC, the ministry has demanded 10,346 doses for Nepal Petroleum Dealers Association, 140,000 doses for Federation of Gas Vendors.
The ministry also demanded 1,000 vaccines for the corporation’s central office and its depots, 150 doses for salt trading and 3,700 doses for the Petroleum Tanker Drivers’ Association.
