Kathmandu : One person has died in a motorcycle accident in Palpa. Another person was injured in the accident on Thursday afternoon.
Jaggu Dangi, 36, of Basgadhi Municipality-6 of Bardiya died when his motorcycle (Lu 67 Pa 5911) overturned on the road. Dipendra Chaudhary, 30, of the same place was injured in the incident.
Dangi died at 3:37 pm after being taken to Lumbini Provincial Hopital, Butwal for treatment, said Palpa Information Officer Laxman Pachabhaiya.
The condition of the injured Chaudhary is said to be normal. It is learned that both to them have come to Palpa from Bardiya for road construction work at Jhumsa Chowki Bhanjyang.
