Kathmandu : One person has died in a motorcycle accident at Manahari in Makwanpur district. According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, the accident took place in Manahari Village Municipality, Ward No. 9, Kharanga.
The deceased has been identified as Anshu Kumar Singh of Manara Gaonpalika Ward No. 2 of Mahottari, when the motorcycle (Lu 15 Pa 3743) heading towards Hetauda from Manahari overturned and fell into a drain, said Devendra Das, Inspector at District Police Office, Makwanpur.
Singh, who was critically injured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda, said Inspector Das. He said that the body of the deceased Singh was kept at Hetauda Hospital for postmortem.
