Kathmandu : A prohibition has been extended in Jhapa till Asar 21. The District Covid 19 Crisis Management Center has stated that even though the corona infection rate in the district is declining, the prohibition has to be increased to reduce the risk.
A notice issued by Chief District Officer Shrawan Kumar Timilasina states that shops other than essential services will be allowed to operate from 6 am to 3 pm following health standards.
Apart from essential services, all types of private vehicles, city and safaris, auto rickshaws will be allowed to operate in Jhapa district on the basis of a strict system in full compliance with health safety standards.
It has been said that government, public institutions, insurance and other offices will follow the health standards in full and adopt the rotation system without crowding.
